Here’s a tip – ever cleaned out your return lines? Run some B12, carb spray, air, etc., through those old crusties and see the difference.
Why? Any restriction in the return line (which any fuel system over 100k miles would probably have), causes high fuel pressure, especially at start up.
Since the pressure is too high at start up, the engine will run really rich, causing the infamous low idle. After cleaning the return line, DPR readings will change (number will be higher) and start-ups will be beautiful. You’re welcome in advance.
